Curious AI

There is no doubt that artificial intelligence has found its way into our modern lives. And yet there are always surprising and even curious applications for AI. We have collected a few examples from the web.

The topic of artificial intelligence has been omnipresent for several years now and pervades all areas of life. Applications such as ChatGPT & Co have fundamentally changed the way we deal with and use media. In many cases, AI offers meaningful improvements for users and society.

Of course, alongside the positive effects, there is also justified criticism and reservations about the rapid development of the technology. In the past, for example, bias and discrimination have been found in AI results. A study from June 2025 also suggests that large AI models exhibit worrying behavior when they are put under stress - for example, when they are threatened with shutdown.

It is and remains important to take a differentiated approach to artificial intelligence systems. Apart from the now widespread areas of application such as research, knowledge transfer, image processing and automation, there are always creative approaches to using AI.

We took a look around the Internet and collected some smart, funny and practical examples from users here.

1. KI-TCHEN CHEF 👨‍🍳

You come home after a long day, haven't had time to go to the supermarket and don't feel like thinking about a recipe for dinner? Take a photo of the contents of your fridge and let the AI suggest suitable recipes.

2. MAKE KI-LOMETER 🚗

If you are alone on a long car journey, you can start a conversation with the AI. Let it read you the latest news of the day or inform you about the area you are driving through. This might also be a good trick to combat fatigue on a long drive.

3. WHERE IS THE KI-MCHI 🥬

Are you going shopping in a really big supermarket with a huge range of products? To save yourself a bit of time, you can send your shopping list to the AI and have it calculate the fastest route through the store.

If you are unsure whether you have forgotten something from your shopping list, let the AI check it. Take a photo of the shopping cart and compare it with your list.

4. I ONLY UNDERSTAND KI-NESIAN 🥟

Artificial intelligence can help you to understand foreign languages as well as complicated texts. If you are in a restaurant abroad and the dishes on the menu are only written in the local language, you can use your AI assistant to translate the menu for you.

AI can also help with texts that are difficult to understand, such as contracts or legal statements. Paragraphs that are formulated in technical jargon become easier to understand. However, special attention must be paid here to the fact that AI can also be wrong and the results are not binding.

5. SUMMARIZE THE KI-STE 🗒️

You want to find out more about a specific topic on YouTube, but the video is long and you're not sure whether you can find the information you need in it. In this case, artificial intelligence can be used to create a summary of the video content. Simply enter the URL of the video and read through the summary. This saves valuable time and avoids the need to skip through the entire video.

6. KI-NDERLEICHTTE GESCHICHTEN 📕

Does your child want to hear a story, but you feel too uncreative? Feed the artificial intelligence with the keywords and let it create a child-friendly story for you. There are no limits to the imagination.

These are just a few examples of creative, smart and sometimes curious applications of artificial intelligence. Due to the widespread use and rapid development of the technology, we are sure to hear about many new ideas in the future.
