A brief review of 2024

The year 2024 was turbulent in many respects. Despite many challenges, it was a successful year for us at KÖNIGSTEINER digital, for which we are very grateful.

The year 2024 was turbulent in many respects. In terms of global politics and society, there are still strong after-effects of the major crises of recent years. This can also be clearly felt on the German labor market at the end of the year. Contrary to the current downward trend, we can say that 2024 was a very successful year for us at KÖNIGSTEINER digital.

We are very grateful for this and would like to take this opportunity to look back on the past 12 months.

There have been a number of posts on our blog on the topics of digital (HR) marketing and recruiting. Of course, the focus was on the shortage of skilled workers in Germany, but also on the question of how companies can not only find good staff, but also retain them.

EMOTIONAL EMPLOYEE LOYALTY

In recent years, emotional employee loyalty has continued to decline. This is a worrying development that can be attributed to various factors. These include the change in values on the labor market, the general increase in uncertainty among many people, but also the stronger position of employees due to the growing labor shortage.

MYTH OF SKILLS SHORTAGE

We have taken a critical look at the much-vaunted shortage of skilled workers in Germany. There is no doubt that there is a lack of qualified employees in many sectors. But what exactly are the reasons for this and are there perhaps options that are not being used enough in companies to tackle the problem? The debate should be examined from different angles.

QUIETLY AND SECRETLY

We have also taken a critical look at the "quiet" trends of recent years. In Germany, for example, studies indicate that there is no development towards "quiet quitting". Of course, fluctuations and completely new developments are also possible here, which is why it is important to continue to monitor such issues and place them in a wider context.

VIDEO-ADS IN PERSONNEL MARKETING

Our blog also had something to offer on a practical level this year. Nowadays, it is impossible to imagine marketing and social media without moving images. This also applies to personnel marketing. Since the creation of Video ads can quickly become time-consuming and cost-intensive, we have decided to simple and affordable alternatives looked around. This gives you a good starting point for integrating video content into your own marketing.

Last year, we were not only out and about in the digital world. In addition to our presence at industry-specific trade fairs, there were some great opportunities to get together with the team.

TALENTPRO & FUTURE PERSONAL EUROPE

In June, we had the opportunity to give our own presentation to a broad specialist audience at TALENTpro . The trade fair visit was a complete success for us and a lot of fun.

We had our own stand at Zukunft Personal Europe in September. This gave us the opportunity to talk directly to many trade fair visitors and present our range of services.

TEAM EVENTS

In addition to the traditional kickoffwhich we hold at the beginning of the year with the sales team from Hamburg, there were a few other great events. We were lucky enough to organize our mid-year retreat with a fantastic team event on the Spree in Berlin to be able to combine them. Definitely one of the big highlights in 2024.

To celebrate a productive and successful year, we went to one of Berlin's many Christmas markets in December when the weather was fine. Fortified with plenty of mulled wine, we ventured into a spooky escape game, from which we fortunately all came out safe and sound 😉
